Unfortunately, there are only seven games in the Premier League this weekend. With the FA Cup quarter-finals now underway, there are four teams competing in the Premier League’s last eight. Those are the two clubs from Manchester, Brighton and Fulham.
On the other hand, Manchester United was supposed to play against Brighton. So there are only three games that are postponed. However, that does take Liverpool and West Ham off the schedule, as the two had Fulham and City respectively on the schedule.
That said, the bottom half of the table has major intrigue this week. The teams placed 12th through 20th have only five points of separation. Somehow, however, there is only one game between teams in that pack. Leeds travel to Molineux to play Wolves. The Whites are in the relegation zone after two games without a win. Wolves, who have come into form under Julen Lopetegui, are still in 13th place, four points above Leeds.
The other game to watch is between Chelsea and Everton. Both clubs seem to be playing better now that the new managers are finding some footing. Can Chelsea get any hope of a European spot, or will Everton continue its bid for survival?
Finally, the last game of the weekend is a London clash between league leaders Arsenal and Crystal Palace. These two teams faced off in the season opener, kicking off this magical season for Arsenal.
