According to NBA insiders, Payton Pritchard would like to be traded by the Boston Celtics this summer Jay King and Jared Weiss of The Athletic. The guard had several DNPs in the regular season and playoffs.

The 25-year-old played in 10 postseason games, averaging 3.2 points. The Celtics lost to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals in seven games after reaching the NBA Finals the previous year.

Boston drafted Pritchard with the 26th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft from Oregon. The guard has career averages of 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Pritchard signed a four-year, $10.5 million rookie scale contract with Boston. He will earn $4.0 million next season.
